2021: Honorable mention All-Sun Belt … Played in 12 games and started in all 12 appearances at free safety … Finished season with two interceptions and 23 tackles … Made a leaping interception of a hail mary pass to end the first half of App State’s season-opening win against ECU in Charlotte’s Bank of America Stadium … Had a 17-yard return of an interception in the win against ULM … Season-high five tackles in the regular-season finale against Georgia Southern … Missed the last two conference games but started in every other appearance.

2020: Honorable mention All-Sun Belt … Started all 12 games at free safety … Finished season with 35 tackles, three interceptions, 2.5 tackles for loss, four breakups and one forced fumble … Sun Belt Defensive Player of the Week from College Sports Madness following a ULM win in which he intercepted two passes … Had a season-high six tackles against Georgia State ... Preseason second-team All-Sun Belt from Phil Steele.

2019: Played in 13 of 14 games and made two starts at free safety: against Coastal Carolina and Louisiana in back-to-back games … Also a special teams contributor, finished the season with 20 tackles, one tackle for loss and one QB hurry … Made a career-high seven tackles against Coastal Carolina in first career start … Had three tackles a week earlier in win at North Carolina … Highlight-reel stop for a 5-yard loss to force a punt at South Alabama.

2018: Appeared in all 13 games, contributing primarily on special teams. Also a safety and outside linebacker … Had eight total tackles, including a season-high four against Charlotte … Added two more in the Sun Belt opener against South Alabama.

2017: Redshirted as a safety.

High School: Rated a three-star prospect by Scout.com and 247Sports, while a two-star prospect by Rivals … Played in the Georgia North-South All-Star Game as a senior … An All-Region 8-5A selection as a senior at safety … Finished career with 302 tackles and five interceptions … Earned Cedar Shoals Golden Helmet, which goes to the highest senior GPA … Named MVP as a senior, also a Terrific 10 selection...Chose App State over Tulane, Arkansas State, MTSU, Charlotte and Georgia Southern, among others.
