Big, powerful lineman is expected to retain his role as the starter at right tackle ... missed parts of three games in the middle of last season due to injury, but returned to start every contest during ASU’s run of eight-straight victories to close the season ... at RT, has the important job of protecting southpaw Armanti Edwards’ blind side in the pocket.

2007: Appeared in 14 games, making 13 starts ... suffered a knee injury early in win over Elon on Sept. 29 and missed all of the following week’s game versus Gardner-Webb and all but two snaps of loss to Georgia Southern ... returned to starting lineup versus Furman on Oct. 27 and made every start at right tackle the rest of the way, helping ASU reel off eight-straight wins ... registered nine knockdowns in season-opening victory at Michigan ... received a season-best 90-percent grade for performance versus Lenoir-Rhyne ... played a season-high 84 snaps versus Furman ... graded out at 84 percent in opening-round playoff triumph over James Madison.
