Mountaineer Talk Set to Return September 1

 BOONE, N.C. — Presented by UNC Health Blue Ridge, App State's weekly Mountaineer Talk radio show will make its 2026-27 return Sept. 1, in advance of the Sept. 5 football opener against Maine at Kidd Brewer Stadium. For the fourth consecutive season the show will be hosted live at Rivers Street Ale House in Boone.
 
New this fall, Mountaineer Talk shows will air on Tuesday nights from 7-8 p.m. Host Adam Witten will be joined weekly by head coach Dowell Loggains and App State football student-athletes on App State Sports Network radio affiliates. Dates and times are subject to change for weeks when the Mountaineers play on a Thursday or Friday.
 
Mountaineer Talk will also be video streamed live at the time of its recording at Facebook.com/AppStateFootball and App State Athletics' YouTube channel, and live audio will be available online at appstatesports.com. Fans can also access the show through the App State Athletics App or listen to a replay on demand through the Nothin' But An App State Podcast channel.
 
Mountaineer Talk will be presented to a live audience at Rivers Street Ale House, located at 957 Rivers St, Boone, NC 28607, just down the road from the heart of campus.
 
In addition to attending the show, fans can ask questions and interact with Witten, Loggains and guests during each broadcast.
