BOONE, N.C. – Your App State Mountaineers are
in the game, and now you can be too.
Lifelong Mountaineers and brand-new fans alike can be closer to the action than ever before by playing as App State in the EA SPORTS College Football 27 video game and participating in weekly challenges for the chance to win fun prizes throughout the season, courtesy of App State Athletics.
Each week, App State Athletics will release a new Mountaineer Mode challenge. Fans will play the game as App State and complete that week's challenge by submitting a screenshot or video showing their result. Qualifying participants will be entered for a chance to win weekly prizes, as well as a chance to participate in a season-ending Mountaineer Mode Championship featuring fellow fans and current and/or former Mountaineer football players.
Week 1 Challenge – Play with the Mountaineers:
The first week's challenge –
Play with the Mountaineers – is simply to win a game as App State.

due by Monday, October 5.
Weekly winners will be randomly selected from qualifying submissions. Your submissions could also be featured in social media content or even on the videoboard during a game at The Rock.

Participation & Rules:
- Participants must play as App State and can play against either a CPU or head-to-head in the following game modes: Play Now, Play a Friend, Road to Glory, Road to the CFP, Dynasty.
- Submissions from the Ultimate Team mode will not be accepted.
- Participants do not need to play online solely for submission purposes.
- The entry should provide clear visual proof that App State was used, and the specific challenge was completed. Must clearly show the opponent, when applicable, and the final result or statistic required by that week's challenge.
- For challenges in which competitive difficulty plays a factor, participants playing against a CPU must play at a minimum difficulty level of Varsity. Online head-to-head games do not require a minimum difficulty level.
