This was the first 2026 game App State played outside the state of North Carolina.
Â
App State's all-time record when playing on ESPN2 improved to 17-3.
Â
Other than the 55-3 season-opening win vs. Maine, all of App State's 2026 games have been one-score affairs inside the final two minutes.
