BOONE, N.C. — To date, with spring classes underway in 2026, App State Football has announced the addition of 35 transfer portal newcomers from NCAA institutions.
That group of 35 includes 10 defensive backs (with five safeties), five wide receivers, four linebackers, three quarterbacks, three defensive linemen, three offensive linemen, two running backs, two tight ends, one punter, one kicker and one long snapper.
With 29 signees in December, including 23 from the high school level, that increases the total of announced newcomers to 64 for the 2026 season.
