BOONE, N.C. – In advance of its debut in Sywassink/Lloyd Family Stadium at the Appalachian 105 Sports Complex, App State Softball has announced updated game times for its 2025 home schedule, which begins next Friday, March 21, with a weekend series against Georgia Southern.
Eleven of App State's 12 weekend games against Sun Belt opponents at the Mountaineers' new home facility will have noon start times, with the lone exception being an 11 a.m. finale to close the Georgia Southern series on March 23.
The game time for the lone midweek contest on the home schedule — against North Carolina Central on April 22 — will be determined at a later date.
All times are subject to change.
App State will play home games at its newly constructed facility this season after spending the previous 17 years at its on-campus home. The new stadium features the program's first videoboard and an AstroTurf Diamond Series playing surface.
In addition to the first home Sun Belt series against Georgia Southern, the Mountaineers will host Marshall (April 4-6), ULM (April 11-13) and Coastal Carolina (May 1-3). App State is set to open its conference schedule this Friday on the road with a visit to preseason Sun Belt favorite Texas State.
