HUNTINGTON, W. Va. – Savannah Dada-Mascoll continued her record-setting season, garnering her 16th straight win this season and remaining unbeaten in conference play, but App State Tennis fell 4-3 at Marshall on Saturday.
App State (12-8, 6-4 SBC) claimed wins on singles Courts 1, 4 and 5. Dada-Mascoll defeated Johanna Storm 6-4, 6-4 on Court 1 to improve to 9-0 in conference play.
Freshman
Naledi Manyube garnered her 11th win in her first collegiate season. The George, South Africa, native defeated Aisling McGrane 7-6 [7-5], 6-2.
Maggie Pate secured her 13th win on the season after defeating Sophia Hurrion 6-4, 1-6, 6-3.
Marshall (17-7, 8-2 SBC) recorded three wins in singles play, along with the doubles point, to prevail over App State.
UP NEXT
App State will conclude its 2024 regular season by hosting conference leader Old Dominion on Saturday, April 20. The match is slated for a 10 a.m. start time with Senior Day festivities starting before the match.
