Monroe, La.– App State Tennis defeated ULM by way of a 5-2 victory on Saturday. The Mountaineers took five of the six obtainable singles points to claim its ninth win of the season, moving to 3-1 in Sun Belt Conference matches.
The Warhawks (1-10, 0-3 SBC) took the doubles point from the Mountaineers (9-5, 3-1 SBC) to take an early 1-0 lead. App State's pairing of
Olwyn Ryan-Bovey and
Naledi Manyube garnered their first win as the No. 1 doubles tandem over ULM's Alice Klinteby/Tamara Buchmann, 6-2.
The Mountaineers' ramped things up in singles play winning five total points to secure the win.

Maggie Pate defeated Giovanna Pereira, 6-3, 6-0, for her ninth singles win on the 2024 campaign. App State secured wins on Courts 4, 5 and 6 to clinch its third consecutive conference win.
