Mountaineers Compete in Exhibition Match with Flames

BOONE, N.C. – App State and Liberty met in Boone for an exhibition matchup on Friday at Brandon. & Erica M. Adcock Field.
 
The two teams competed in a full game before each team practiced shootouts after regulation.
 
18 Mountaineers took the field in the scrimmage, including newcomers Florine Koopman, Noa Ginjaume Matas and Sophia Baxter. Addie Clark and Claire Grenis split time in the cage against the Flames.

The Mountaineers will cap off their exhibition slate with a matchup against Wake Forest on Sunday. First touch is slated for 1 p.m. from Kentner Field.
