BOONE, N.C. -- App State men's basketball welcomes Coastal Carolina to the Holmes Convocation Center at 6:30 p.m. on ESPN+ on Thursday evening.

Tickets for the 2021-22 season are on sale and can be purchased byÂ
clicking here. The first 150 students through the door will receive a free t-shirt. Students also will receive free pizza while supplies last. Faculty and staff also will receive two free tickets to Thursday's game with a valid ID.

- There are no crowd size restrictions at this time.
- Face coverings are required in all indoor areas, regardless of vaccination status. If actively eating, face coverings are not required to be worn
- Face coverings are not required outside the Holmes Convocation Center.
- Hand sanitizer stations are available throughout the facility.
THE SERIES
- This will be the 11th meeting between the two schools, with App State leading 7-3.
- The two teams met once last season, with the Mountaineers winning 64-61 in overtime in the Sun Belt Tournament Semifinals.
SCOUTING THE MOUNTAINEERS
- App State fell at Troy on Saturday 68-53.
- Adrian Delph had 16 points and three steals, while Donovan Gregory added 12 points, eight rebounds and three assists. James Lewis Jr. chipped in with eight points and seven rebounds.
- In four conference games, Delph is averaging 19.5 points, including a 44.1 percent (15-of-34) clip on 3-pointers.
- Lewis Jr. is averaging 8.0 rebounds in his last four games, while Michael Almonacy has 26 total assists in four conference games.
- Delph is averaging 16.0 points, which ranks fourth in the conference, and has reached double figures in scoring in 15 of 17 games this season.
- App State sits second in the Sun Belt in scoring defense (63.1 ppg) and fourth in 3-point defense (.302).
SCOUTING THE CHANTICLEERS
- Coastal Carolina fell 69-59 at Troy on Jan. 6.
- Vince Cole had 21 points and seven rebounds, while Josh Uduje added 14 points and five boards. Essam Mostafa chipped in with 10 points and six rebounds.
- Mostafa is averaging 9.8 rebounds, which sits second in the conference, and is averaging 15.8 points, which ranks fifth.
- Ebrima Dibba is dishing out 6.5 assists per game, which is tops in the league.
- As a team, the Chanticleers lead the Sun Belt in rebounding (41.8 rpg), rebounding margin (+8.6), field goal defense (.347) and scoring margin (+12.4).
