BOONE, N.C. - App State softball signed Riley Becker to the 2021-22 roster.
"Riley will come into our App State Softball family and bring a positive mindset to our pitching and catching staff. The rapport she has with her pitchers is what allows them to perform at their best and we look forward to her doing the same here. Riley will push everyone around her to be better and in turn that will continue to raise her level of play and our team's," said head coach Shelly Hoerner.Â
Riley Becker will join the Mountaineers after an impressive career playing for the Team NC Hinde travel team. The catcher posted a .263 batting average and .461 slugging percentage, with three home runs. In addition, Becker holds a .317 on base percentage and a .778 OPS.
Becker is from Matthews, N.C., and attends Weddington High School.
