BOONE, N.C. – On-field championships and major facility enhancements will be prime topics during the 2019 Appalachian State Athletics Spring Tour – presented by the Yosef Club – which will make six stops in its annual caravan across the state of North Carolina.
The tour will officially kick off Tuesday, April 2 in Lenoir with events scheduled through April 11. Almost every part of the state of North Carolina will be touched by the App State contingent, including Hickory, Charlotte, Winton-Salem, Greensboro and Raleigh.
Featured attendees will include Director of Athletics
Doug Gillin and new head football coach
Eliah Drinkwitz, along with other coaches and members of the App State athletics and alumni association staffs. Guests will be treated to exclusive updates on the new end zone project and other athletics facility enhancements. There will also be photo opportunities with the Sun Belt Football Championship and R+L Carriers New Orleans Bowl trophies.
"We're excited to meet with our loyal fans and alumni across the state of North Carolina and gain some new fans," Gillin said. "This spring, I also have the privilege of introducing many of you to Coach Drinkwitz for the first time. I'm excited about the direction of App State Athletics and can't wait to share my excitement first-hand with all the Mountaineers around this great state."
Admission is $10 per person for each tour event. Guests are asked to register for events at
appstatesports.com/springtour19 or by phone at 828-262-3108. Space is limited for one of App State Athletics' most popular events of the year, so fans are encouraged to register early.
Each event will offer easy opportunities to sign up or enhance your Yosef Club membership and purchase 2019 football season tickets.
