Updating Apps in International Play

BOONE, N.C. -- Appalachian State men's basketball features a handful of Mountaineers playing in leagues around the world. With their season's reaching the home stretch, here is a closer look at how the alums are faring:

Ryann Abraham plays for 11 Lobos Chalchuapa in Liga MB in El Salvador. 11 Lobos sits in sixth place in the eight team league with a 5-9 mark on the season.

Jeremi Booth currently plays for Prisse Macon in the France-National Male League 2. Prisse Macon currently sits in a tie for seventh place in the league with a 9-10 mark and is just a game and a half out of fifth place.

Isaac Butts is in his fourth season with the Aishin Sea Horses of the Japanese B. League. Butts has appeared in 32 games this season, making 27 starts. He is averaging a near double-double at 9.3 points on 57.8 percent shooting and 11.7 rebounds. The Sea Horses stand at 24-23 on the season, which sits in a tie for ninth place in the 18-team league.

Griffin Kinney plays for Aris Leeuwarden in the Dutch Basketball League. Kinney has played and started in 28 games for Aris Leeuwarden, averaging a team-best 15.9 points on 55.9 percent shooting, to go along with a team-high 8.4 rebounds. He also has tallied nine double doubles on the season. Kinney had 23 points and eight rebounds in a 75-73 loss to Windmills on Mar. 6. Aris Leeuwarden sita seventh of 10 teams in the Dutch Basketball League with an 8-20 record on the season.

Donald Sims currently plays for San Lordenzo de Almagro in Argentina. In 18 games during the La Liga season, Sims is averaging 15.8 points on 54.2 percent shooting on three-pointers, 2.8 assists and 1.1 steals. He has reached double figures in 14 of 18 games, including a stretch of 11 consecutive games of 10 or more points. He tallied a season-high 30 points, including an 8-of-13 (61.5 percent) mark from deep, to go along with four assists in a 108-93 win over Argentino on Jan. 16.

Andre Williamson plays for Fribourg Olympic in Switzerland. In 19 games in Swiss LNA play, he is averaging 12.3 points on 61.5 percent shooting and 7.3 rebounds. In Basketball Champions League action (20 games), Williams is averaging 12.3 points, 7.2 rebounds and 2.0 assists.
