“Well, that was one of those things were Zack lost track of where he was at and he wanted to get rid of the ball and they ran him down and that was definitely a huge play in the ball game.”

“It didn't really change the game plan as far as what we were trying to do, not having Armanti's throwing ability kind of sets the offense back a bit and I think that's what happened today.”

“It was really a momentum swing, we talked about at halftime that we had to step up our play in the second half. So coming out in the second half and scoring a quick touchdown was  big for us and got the momentum back on our side.”

“We heard the questions from the beginning of the year about the defensive unit. We know as a team what kind of talent we have and what we're capable of doing out there. As the season has gone on we've gotten better and better and I think you can see the results now.”

“The sacks that we've been getting in the Elon game and today are a result of good coverage. The defensive backs were doing a great job and their quarterback didn't have anyone to throw to so I wasn't surprised to get the safety at all.”

“I expected Western to play this way today. I watched them on film as we were preparing for the Elon game and in preparation for this week and I knew they would come out and play hard today and they did just that.”

“Cadet did a good job, today's the first time he's had to go out and play a full game and he did a good job. We told him not to worry about it if he threw a bad ball and he didn't.”

“Travaris hasn't been working as a quarterback, he'll take a few snaps here and there but for the most part he works out as a receiver, so all things considered  he did a good job out there day.'

“He's the most dangerous when he's running north and south, when he gets going he's hard to handle and he was a big part of what we were able to do running the ball today.”

“We did what we needed to do, we needed to go win and that's what we did. I told Cadet that on the way in here that I the only thing that matters is we win the game, you can't get into all that stuff with counting on someone else to win or lose in order to get a certain seed. We did what we needed to do and now we'll get ready for the playoffs.”
