Teresa Eggers enters her 26th year as a staff member at Appalachian State, having spent seven years in the College of Business (part-time) as Adm Assistant to the Health Care Management Program as well as Executive Assistant to Chancellor Emeritus, Dr. John Thomas. While in the College of Business, Teresa managed Athletic's Ticket and Gate Personnel for football and basketball.
Teresa joined App State Athletics 26 years ago as the Assistant Athletics Ticket Manager and in 2009, was promoted to Associate Athletic Ticket Manager. February 2016, Teresa was named the Assistant Athletics Director of Ticket Operations and also serves as Courtesy Car Program Administrator.
Eggers and her husband Scott, a 1984 graduate of App State, enjoy golf, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
They have two children. Their son Jacob is an App State alum and was a member of App State golf team from 2006-10. He is now a professional golfer and lives in Riviera Beach, Fla. with his wife, Jessie Davis Eggers, also an App alum. Their daughter, Sarah Lynn Eggers is a PharmD and lives in Lillington, N.C. and is beginning a residency with Walgreens in Dunn, N.C. in June. She will marry Alan K. Russell on September 30, 2017 in Valle Crucis, N.C.
