Before stepping into the role of Event Operations Manager at the Holmes Convocation Center in October of 2024, Trevor Rowe developed a strong foundation in live event production, technical operations, and team leadership across multiple venues and roles. His experience spans audio engineering, lighting design, live stream management production logistics, working in diverse environments including concert halls, casinos, multi-use entertainment centers and universities.
A Raleigh, N.C. native and a 2013 Western Carolina graduate, Rowe held key leadership roles such as Production Manager at the Hayes School of Music, where he supervised student teams and managed live stream operations and technical systems. As an audio/production engineer at Alchemy Concert Systemsin Carbondale Colorado, he operated sound systems for a wide range of live events, handled client advances, led onsite crews and gaining hands-on experience with professional audio and lighting equipment. Earlier, he served as entertainment manager at UltraStar Multi-tainment Center, overseeing entertainment booking, production planning and front-of-house mixing. His career began at Harrah’s Cherokee Casino & Resort, where he mixed FOH and monitors for regional acts, assisted with large-scale concert setups and supported technical maintenance.
Currently living in Wilkesboro, N.C. with his fiancé Allison, outside of work, Rowe stays deeply connected to his passion for live events by freelancing in the live sound world, often mixing shows and supporting productions on the side. A lifelong music lover, he collects vinyl records for his turntable and enjoys playing drums when time allows. He is also passionate about hockey and trying to attend or watch as many Carolina Hurricanes games as possible. He's an avid motorsports enthusiast with a love for everything from Formula One and NASCAR to local track racing. When he's not at a show or watching hockey or a race, you’ll likely find him juggling multiple books at once or trying to stay ahead of his ever-growing lawn.
