Blake Roebuck was named Assistant Director of Sports Productions in August 2022 after joining the App State Athletics in September 2021 as Broadcast Operations Intern.

Roebuck assists with the planning and execution of all live broadcasts and streams, producing and directing ESPN+ broadcasts, in-game video board experiences, and digital content to tell the story of App State’s student-athletes, coaches and teams.

Prior to joining App State’s sports productions team, Roebuck was a freelance camera and replay operator for live sports broadcasting companies across North Carolina. He also worked as a student assistant for the App State sports production staff from 2018-2020.

Roebuck graduated from App State in December 2020 with a bachelor’s degree in Communications, Electronic Media and Broadcasting.

Native of Yakima, Wash., Roebuck now resides in Boone, N.C. with his wife Klair. In his free time, he enjoys iRacing, watching sports and playing video games.
