A Normal, Ill., native, May earned both a bachelor's degree in kinesiology and sport recreation and a master's degree in sports administration from Eastern Illinois University. Recognized as a Coles County 20 Under 40 honoree, she was inducted into the Eastern Illinois Athletics Hall of Fame in 2021 thanks to a decorated pitching career that included 57 pitching victories and a career ERA of 1.98.

I'm excited to be part of the development team and have the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with our donors, alumni and supporters who make Mountaineer Athletics so special. I look forward to helping grow that support and giving our incredible fans even more opportunities to be part of the success of App State Athletics.”

In her free time, May enjoys hiking, watching sports, attending concerts and reading. She also shares her home with her two dogs, Oakley and Luna.
