Career: Conference champion and NCAA qualifier at 133 pounds in 2021 … Ended 2025 season with a 71-38 career record … Started at 125 pounds as a true freshman, when he was named the SoCon’s Freshman of the Year … Won one match at 2021 NCAA Championships ... Went 22-7 in career duals and 14-2 in SoCon duals.

2024-25: Posted a 2-2 record at 141 pounds, suffering a season-ending injury in the opening dual at NC State … Competing in an App State singlet for the first time since Jan. 13, 2023, won his first match at the Mountaineer Invitational before winning an 8-5 decision in overtime against Virginia Tech’s Sam Latona, a two-time All-American who was wrestling against Carter when he suffered his 2023 injury in overtime of a dual matchup in Varsity Gym … In his dual debut at NC State, had a 6-3 lead in the third period against No. 6 Kai Orine when he suffered his season-ending knee injury.

2023-24: Redshirted while returning to full health from a Spring 2023 injury … Had a 7-4 mark in unattached matches at both 133 and 141 pounds during the second semester, including 3-0 run to the Appalachian Open and Wildcat Open finals at 141.

2022-23: Went 13-7 overall at 133 pounds ... Had a 4-1 dual record and 1-0 record in SoCon duals ... Ranked No. 24 by Intermat and No. 25 by Flo when he suffered a season-ending injury during an overtime loss on Jan. 13 to Sam Latona, an All-American from Virginia Tech ... Start of dual season included 3-1 overtime win against NC State's Kai Orine (an eighth-place-finishing All-American) and a 9-4 decision against then-No. 29 Joey Melendez of North Carolina ... Won three matches at the Cliff Keen Las Vegas Invitational ... Mountaineer Invitational runner-up and eighth-place finish at the Southern Scuffle (with a win against NCAA qualifier McGwire Midkiff of North Dakota State).

2021-22: As a part-time starter at 133 pounds, went 15-7 overall and 3-0 in duals, including 1-0 in SoCon duals … In first dual appearance of season, facing two-time NCAA qualifier Jarrett Trombley from NC State, used a takedown with 18 seconds left in the Sudden Victory-1 period to win a 3-1 decision … Also won in dual appearances against VMI (second-period fall) and Little Rock (9-3 decision against Jaylen Carson) … Placed third at the Appalachian Open with a 4-1 record, fourth at the Keystone Classic and sixth at the Mountaineer Invitational … Won two matches at the Southern Scuffle.

2020-21 (Didn't count against eligibility because of COVID): SoCon champion at 133 pounds in his first year at that weight … Clinched automatic NCAA Championships berth as the SoCon’s No. 2 seed, using a takedown with 12 seconds left in the first period to move ahead in a 3-1 decision against top-seeded Jake Rotunda, who missed the regular-season meeting with App State due to injury … At the NCAAs in St. Louis, as a No. 31 seed, went 1-2 and used a last-second takedown to win an 8-6 decision against Northern Colorado's Mosha Schwartz (seeded 15th) on Day 1 … Opening match was against eventual NCAA champion Roman Bravo-Young of Penn State … Posted 13-8 record overall, with a 10-2 record in 12 matches going into the NCAAs after a 2-4 start at his new weight … Went 6-1 in SoCon duals and 6-2 in App State’s duals … Started in every App State dual except the win against Presbyterian … Advanced to the SoCon finals with a 16-1 tech fall in the quarterfinals and then a 10-6 decision against Gardner-Webb’s Todd Carter in one semifinal.
