Career: 2021 NCAA qualifier and SoCon champion at 141 pounds … Career record of 59-28, as he wrestled only once after suffering a broken hand during the Southern Scuffle at the beginning of 2022 … Clinched automatic NCAA Championships berth in 2021 as the SoCon’s No. 2 seed at 141 pounds, winning a 7-3 decision in the final against Campbell’s Shannon Hanna.
 
2021-22: Went 10-5 in limited action because of a broken hand suffered during the Southern Scuffle to open 2022 … Returned Feb. 20 to wrestle in a dual extra against Presbyterian in the regular-season finale and won by fall in the second period … Went 1-1 in duals with a loss against NC State and a pin against Bellarmine in SoCon action … Placed second at the Mountaineer Invitational and fifth at the Keystone Classic … Went 1-1 at the Southern Scuffle.
 
2020-21: SoCon champion and NCAA qualifier at 141 pounds in his first year as a starter … Won a 7-3 decision in the SoCon final against Campbell’s Shannon Hanna … At NCAAs in St. Louis, wrestled twice with losses by scores of 10-1 and 8-4 (after posting two first-period takedowns and leading 4-3 in the final minute) … Preseason All-SoCon selection went 7-1 in SoCon duals and 3-0 in the tournament … Owned 14-3 record after his win in SoCon final and finished season at 14-5 … Reached SoCon final with a 10-2 major decision in the quarterfinals and a 3-2 (TB-1) decision against Gardner-Webb’s Trevon Majette, who conceded an escape after failing to produce one of his own with Brito on top to start the first 30-second period … Had a 7-2 record in App State’s duals … Losses this season prior to the NCAAs were against Virginia’s Brian Courtney (No. 20 seed for NCAAs), NC State’s Tariq Wilson (No. 4 seed for NCAAs) and Chattanooga’s Franco Valdes (5-3 in SV-2 period against No. 31 wrestler at time).

2019-20: Went 21-9 at 141 pounds to improve career record to 35-18 … First place at the Newberry Open (4-0) and second place at the National Collegiate Open (3-1) in his final two tournaments of the season … Second place at the Appalachian Open, fifth place at the Mountaineer Invitational and fifth place at the Wolfpack Open … Began the Appalachian Open with a 5-2 decision against Chattanooga starter Mason Wallace … At the Newberry Open, had one tech fall and two major decisions before winning 3-2 against Silas Shaw of the Wolfpack Wrestling Club.

2018-19: Named to the Southern Conference All-Freshman Team … Had a 14-9 record at 141 pounds with a second-place finish at the Mat Town II Open (3-1) and a fourth-place showing at the Keystone Classic (3-2) … Went 4-0 in his round-robin pool at the Journeyman MyHouse Collegiate Classic in New York and won three matches at the Appalachian Open... Member of the Southern Conference Academic Honor Roll.

2017-18: Competing unattached as a redshirting freshman, went 8-8 … Went 3-2 with two major decisions at the Hokie Open … Went 3-2 at the Appalachian Open.

High School: State champion and three-time state placer (sixth, fifth, first) at Heritage High School … Capped a 51-2 season in 2016 with a 3-1 decision over Lake Norman’s Zak Rainess in the 4-A state final at 132 pounds … Became his school’s first state champion in any sport … Three-time conference champion … Coached by Thomas Durham.
