After going 4-3 in SoCon duals, avenged all three losses as the No. 5 seed in Asheville, sandwiching wins against NCAA qualifiers in 2024 and 2025 around a major decision in the semifinals against the No. 1 seed who went unbeaten in SoCon duals ... Turned a 4-3 loss to VMI’s Dyson Dunham into a 5-1 quarterfinal win, a 6-4 loss (decided by a takedown in the final 30 seconds) to UTC’s Hunter Mason into a 16-4 semifinal major decision and a 4-1 overtime loss to Bellarmine’s AJ Rallo into an 8-1 finals decision ... Went 1-2 at the SoCon Championship tournament … Pulled upset in his opening-round match at the SoCon Championship, winning a 10-6 decision against fourth-seeded AJ Rallo from Bellarmine after jumping ahead 7-0 in the first period and sealing the win with a late takedown … Took over as App State’s full-time starter on Jan. 12 for the team’s second SoCon dual ... Improved to 3-3 in SoCon duals with a first-period tech fall against Davidson ...
