Singles:
All-SBC Second Team performer … Finished the season with a 14-2 overall record, going 9-1 from the No. 2 spot … Went 7-1 against Sun Belt opponents … Clinched wins against Queens (Feb. 14) and James Madison (March 9) … Held a 10-match win streak from Feb. 8 to April 6 … Picked up a win on court two against ranked #48 South Alabama on March 14 … SBC Player of the Week on March 19 for her performances against South Alabama and Southern Miss …Picked up a tough, three-set win against Troy in the SBC Championship on April 25.
 
Doubles: Appeared in 16 doubles matches, earning a 14-5 record from all three positions … Went 9-2 from court two … Peaked 87th in the nation with Olwyn Ryan-Bovey as a pair … Went on two, four-match win streaks paired with Ruby Broadbent and Ryan-Bovey, from Feb. 5 to Feb. 16, and again from Feb. 22 to March 14 … Went an impressive 8-1 with Broadbent, going an undefeated 3-0 on court three and a perfect 5-0 against Sun Belt opponents.

Singles:
Took part in every match in 2023-24, compiling a 12-7 record in singles play ... Went 6-3 against conference foes her freshman year ... Went on a five-match winning streak in conference play from March 23 to April 6 ... Defeated Liberty's No. 5 player at the NIT ... Helped clinch a victory in the opening round of the SBC Tournament against James Madison. 

Doubles:
Saw action in 21 doubles contests and won 10 ... Teamed up with Maggie Pate to beat ODU's No. 3 pairing in the Sun Belt Tournament final ... Went 3-1 in doubles at the SBC Tournament ... Played in all three doubles spots throughout the year, but played the most at the No. 1 spot (14 matches).   

High School

Naledi Manyube, a South African tennis standout, joins the App State tennis program for the 2023-24 season. Manyubi comes to App State with an impressive résumé on the junior circuit in South Africa, where she burst onto the scene in 2022 when she won three ITF Junior Grade 5 titles in a two-week span, culminating with a title at the J5 in Durban. 

She has been ranked as a top-10 junior player in South Africa and a top-300 junior player worldwide. In April 2023, Manyubi competed for her home country in the Billie Jean King Cup Europe-Africa Group Competition, marking her second season as a member of the South African national squad.
