2023-24
Singles: Competed in 24 matches in her final year at App State and won 15 games ... Defeated five conference foes ... Won her first five singles matches to start the year ... Defeated two opponents at the Sun Belt Tournament ... Went 8-3 at the No. 3 singles spot ... Went on three separate three-match winning streaks during the season. 

Doubles: Took part in every contest in doubles play ... Won 15 doubles matches, which included four at the No. 1 spot ... Teamed up with Taya Powell for nine of the 15 wins, which were the most on the team ... Defeated ODU's No. 3 pairing in the Sun Belt Tournament Final ... Started the year 3-0 ... Went unbeaten in doubles matches from Feb. 25 to March 17 ... Went 2-0 against Sun Belt champion Old Dominion in doubles action. 

2022-23
Singles: Participated in 19 contests in her first season at App State, winning eight matches. Went 5-4 against Sun belt opponents, which was tied for the second most singles wins on the team. Played primarily at the No. 3 spot. 

Doubles: Competed in 19 doubles matches for the Mountaineers with four different teammates. One of four Mountaineer players to record double-digit victories in doubles action for the Mountaineers. 

PRIOR TO APP STATE
In her three-year stint at Furman, Pate finished with an overall singles record of 29-12 and went 17-11 in doubles action … helped the Paladins win three straight Southern Conference championships … awarded the SoCon Pinnacle Award the last two seasons … tallied two ranked wins as a sophomore, defeating South Carolina and UCF, who were both ranked No. 18 at the time played … helped Furman reach a national rank of No. 19, the highest in the school’s history … named to the Southern Conference Academic Honor Roll three times, the ITA All-Academic Team twice and the SoCon Academic All-Conference Team in 2021.

HIGH SCHOOL
Finished undefeated in regular season play all four years … was a four-time district singles champion and a two-time district doubles champion at Durant Senior High School.

PERSONAL
Born November 3, 2000 … parents are Morris and Cathy Pate … majoring in accounting and planning to work toward a master’s degree in accounting at App State.
