2022: Started in all 55 games as a senior … Named All-Sun Belt Second Team after finishing second on her team in batting (.316), hits (54) and RBIs (36) … Led the Mountaineers in extra-base hits (10) … Hit five home runs on the year … Earned 28 runs … Stole three bases on four attempts … Hit a pair of two-run homers in both games of a doubleheader against UT Arlington, leading the Mountaineers to two wins … Named an NFCA Scholar-Athlete for the second year in a row.

2021: Started every game in center field during the 2021 campaign… Ended the season with a .263 batting average over 133 at bats and scored 20 runs… Recorded 35 hits including seven doubles and one home run… Tallied 15 RBIs with a .338 slugging percentage and a .322 on base percentage… Was a perfect 2-for-2 in stolen bases and had four sacrifice bunts… Had a season-high three hits in the win over Georgia Southern (4/16)… Hit two doubles in the win at UNCG (2/20)… Tallied first home run of the season in the win over Western Carolina (3/23)… Recorded a season-high two RBIs in the win over Coastal Carolina (5/6)… Had the game-winning RBI in the Mountaineers’ 2-1 win over Georgia State in the Sun Belt Championship, the first win in the tournament in school history ... Named an NFCA Scholar-Athlete.

2020: Started in all 22 games in center field for the Mountaineers… Ended the season with a .263 batting average and a .351 slugging percentage… Tallied 15 hits and scored 12 runs during the shortened season… Tied for the team-high in doubles with five… Posted six RBI and a .364 on base percentage… Was two-for-three in stolen base attempts… Had a season-high three hits in the 9-1 win over Ohio (Feb. 13), along with a season-high three RBI… Scored a season-high three runs in the win over Saint Joseph’s (Feb. 15)... Season was cut short due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

2019: As a freshman, Barnes started in 29 of her 49 appearances ... accumulated a .260 batting average through 104 at bats, good for second-best on the team ... managed a .346 slugging percentage for fourth highest on the team with two home runs and 17 RBIs ... Barnes' first collegiate home run was a grand slam in game three against Georgia State to carry the Mountaineers to a 7-0 victory. 

High School: Earned all-conference honors during each year of her four-year softball career at Parkwood HS ... earned all-state as a junior ... had a career batting average of .433 with 133 career hits ... also ran cross country for one year ... was a swimmer for one year ... played travel softball for Team NC.
