Presutty joins the Mountaineers from Weddington High School in Charlotte, where she batted .349 in her first three seasons with 80 hits in 229 at-bats. Presutty’s junior season saw her bash a career-best 10 home runs, which was the 15th-most among all players in North Carolina. Through her first three seasons, Presutty smacked 16 home runs. An extra-base machine, Presutty stroked 45 extra-base hits, which includes 19 triples - 11 of her 19 triples came in her sophomore season in 2022-23. Presutty plays the game with speed and precision as she stole 29 bases in her first three seasons at Weddington at a perfect clip. Additionally, she roams the outfield with a solid glove and a strong arm. Through her junior year, she tallied 24 outfield assists, which included a career-best 12 assists her freshman year. Individually, she was named the MVP of her team in 2023, the Impact Player of the Year in 2022 and was a Hot Stove nominee for Outfielder of the Year in 2023. On the travel circuit, Presutty was a member of Team NC Baylog/Tracey 18U, where she was coached by Bill Baylog and Chad Tracey.
