Biography

Prior to App State (Alabama A&M – 2023-25)
Joining the Mountaineers from Alabama A&M, Daniel brings elite speed and a strong bat to the High Country. Daniel led the Bulldogs in batting average each of the past two seasons, posting a .380 mark in 2025 and a career-best .407 number in 2024. She finished in the top 10 in the SWAC in batting average in both 2024 and 2025, while also finishing fourth in triples in 2025 with four. A preseason All-SWAC second-team selection, Daniel has stolen 32 bases in her three-year career, finishing in the top 20 each of the last two seasons in the SWAC in that category. Entering the 2026 season, Daniel boasts a .397 career batting average and a .440 career on-base percentage. Among qualified Alabama A&M hitters last season, Daniel finished second on the team in OPS (.854), fourth in total bases (40), second in slugging percentage (.460), third in on-base percentage (.394) and second in hits (31). Academically, Daniel was twice named to the SWAC Commissioner’s Honor Roll and was a two-time Dean’s List selection.
 
High School
From Madison, Ala., Daniel attended James Clemens High School. Her sophomore season saw her bat .407 with 24 hits in 59 at-bats. She drove home seven runs that season and boasted a .426 on-base percentage. Daniel stole 24 bases across her sophomore and junior seasons and committed just two errors in the field, playing primarily in center field. In addition to her high school team, Daniel also played on the travel circuit for Sparks Elite, coached by Maxie Pooler, and the Atlanta Vipers, coached by Cary Hutto. Daniel was a National Honor Society member in high school and was also a member of the Beta Club.
