Biography

2025: Sat out the 2025 season due to injury. 

2024: Appeared in 27 games her sophomore season, making 14 starts ... Caught fire down the stretch of the season, tallying nine hits in her last six games ... Posted a four-hit game against Marshall on April 28, which is tied for the most in a single game in program history ... Boasted the second-best batting average in conference play (.345) ... Smacked a home run against Georgia Southern in the final game of the season, her first career long ball ... Drove in all three of App State's runs in the season finale ... Recorded three multi-hit games in 2024. 

2023: Appeared in 21 games as a freshman, making eight starts … totaled three hits, including doubles against Presbyterian and Marshall … tallied a run and a hit in a win over Green Bay … walked four times … earned a perfect fielding percentage with five putouts.

High School: Lucas joins the softball program following a stellar career in the Peach State. She was named the offensive player of the year, most valuable player and received the Lion Leader Award during her time at Trinity Christian School. She was tabbed to the all-region team each of her four seasons and the all-county team on three occasions. The infielder tallied a career batting average of .465 and an on-base percentage of .615, good enough to lead her team each season. She also spent time playing travel ball for Georgia Academy Power where she led her squad with eight home runs.
