2019: Hernandez played in all 19 matches and started in 16...was the highest scorer for the Mountaineers, finding the back of the net five times, and assisting on one...took both of the Mountaineers penalty kicks this season, scoring both...scored the only goal in the Mountaineers 1-0 win over UNC (10/29)...notched a goal and an assist in the 4-0 win over Howard (10/12)...took 26 shots this season, with nine on target...had season-highs in shots (3) and shots on goal (2) in the Sun Belt Tournament 3-0 win over Howard (11/13)

2018: Had a stellar freshman season playing in all 17 matches with one start ... tallied 459 minutes of action ... tied for second on the team with three goals ... scored his first collegiate goal in a 2-0 win at North Florida (8/26) ... Hernandez notched his first career game winner in a 2-1 upset at then-No. 22 Coastal Carolina (10/13) in the 77th minute ... after his game winner, he was named the Sun Belt Offensive Player of the Week ... played a career-high 53 minutes at Presbyterian (10/23) ... was first on the team in shot on goal percentage at .750 when attempting at least 10 shots ... nine of his 12 shots were on target. 

High School: Shined in club ball under Adam Reeke and Andy Butler for USSDA Fusion ... scored 25 goals in three seasons highlighted by a career high of 12 scores in 2014-15 ... helped lead his team to a National Cup final in 2014 on top of an ODP First-Team selection in 2014 ... was invited to the National Training Center all four seasons .. while at Asheboro, he excelled off the field as he accumulated an impressive 4.67 GPA, was a junior Marshall and posted straight A's his freshman, junior and senior year ... finished 18th in his senior class ... was a youth leader for the Sons of King Ministry and a volunteer in the Special Olympics.
