Singles - Fall: Participated in nine matches where she finished with a solid 6-3 mark … won four straight matches in the fall at the Spartan Classic Invitational including a win over Tayah Cross of UNCG … four of her six wins resulted in straight sets … Spring: took part in three contests with one victory over Savannah State’s Rachida el Kateb.

Doubles - Fall: Played in eight matches with Sandra Anglesjo, posting a 5-3 record highlighted by wins over Charlotte, Western Carolina and UNCG … ran off a streak of four straight wins … Spring: Was put into a prominent role with fellow freshman Anglesjö … ended the year with a solid 6-8 mark, good for the third-most victories on the team … posted back-to-back triumphs over Radford (3/2) and North Carolina Central (3/18) … contributed to the Apps’ bounce-back season finishing 11-11, which tied for the highest turnaround from one season in the Sun Belt … helped the Black and Gold pick up its first-ever Sun Belt Tournament win against No. 10 seed Texas State.

HIGH SCHOOL
As a freshman and sophomore, Gaskins won the 6A doubles title with her twin, Grace, as well as the team championship ... In her junior season, Gaskins won another 6A Championship and team title ... playing in the 16's, Gaskins was ranked ninth in Georgia and 40th in the Southern Region ... Emily and Grace reached the semifinals of the prestigious Southern's Tournament in 2015.  Emily will join App State as a walk-on in 2017.
