Johnson City, Tenn. – App State Tennis falls to ETSU 6-1 as its lone point came from sophomore
Savannah Dada-Mascoll.
The Yorkshire, England native won both matches she was featured in on Tuesday, coming from behind to defeat Sofia Markova 1-6, 6-1, [11-9] on court No. 1 in singles play.
Dada-Mascoll and
Riley Collins won their second match as a doubles pair, but ETSU picked up the doubles point with wins on courts 1 and 3. The sophomore pairing of Dada-Mascoll and Collins won 7-6 [7-5] on court 2, defeating ETSU's Sofia Markova/Alessandra Caceres.
Dada-Mascoll has now won three straight matches, improving 3-1 with four matches remaining before Sun Belt play. Graduate student
Maggie Pate suffered her first loss of the season on court 3. The Florida native's loss ended her five-match winning streak in singles.

The Mountaineers will conclude their run of four straight road matches Sunday against Elon. The match is set for a 1 p.m. start time. App State will return home on March 1 to host Duquesne. Live stats for both matches will be available on appstatesports.com.
