WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. -- App State men's track & field will take part in the JDL Team Challenge in the team's final meet before the Sun Belt Championships. The meet will begin on Thursday at 5 p.m. with the pole vault and 3,000-meter run.
SCHOOL RECORD
Last weekend at the New Mexico Collegiate Classic,
De'Shawn Ballard broke the school record in the 200-meter dash. The Mountaineer sprinter crossed in 21.18 seconds, bettering the previous school record of 21.21 seconds set in 2017-18.

With just under two weeks left before the Sun Belt Championships, App State has 13 athletes ranked in the top-eight of the Sun Belt:
- 60-Meter Dash: 6. De'Shawn Ballard, 6.86
- 200-Meter Dash: 2. De'Shawn Ballard, 21.18
