JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. -- After over a month off, Appalachian State men's indoor track & field will return to action on Friday and Saturday at the ETSU Track & Field Invitational. Men's running events begin at 10:45 a.m. on Friday, with field events starting at noon. On Saturday, men's events will begin at 9:15 a.m. with the 3,000-meter run, with field events set to begin at noon with the long jump.

Appalachian State, Carson-Newman, Converse, Cumberland, ETSU, Georgia State, Kennesaw State, King, Lees-McRae, Lincoln Memorial, Louisburg, Mars Hill, Milligan, Newberry, Reinhardt, Southern Wesleyan, Tennessee Wesleyan, Tusculum, UNAT-Maryville, Voorhees and Wofford.
LAST TIME OUT
Appalachian State opened the indoor season on Nov. 30 and Dec. 1 by hosting the Appalachian Open. The Mountaineers finished second of nine teams in the meet with 107 points. In all, the Black and Gold posted 10 top-three finishes across seven events in the meet:

Jabari Johnson and
Elliott Graves finished first and second respectively in the 300-meter dash at the Appalachian Open. Johnson's time of 34.51 seconds ranked as the second fastest time in the event in school history, while Graves' time of 35.15 seconds ranked seventh.

Appalachian State will take next weekend off and compete next on Jan. 26 at the VMI Team Challenge.
