BOONE, N.C. — Taylor Jackson and
Forrest Przybysz will receive Commissioner's Medals thanks to their high standing on the Southern Conference Honor Roll, which includes 14 wrestlers from Appalachian State.

Matt Zovistoski made the honor roll, which recognizes student-athletes who achieved a GPA of 3.0 or higher for the 2017-18 academic year.
The Commissioner's Medal is awarded to student-athletes with a GPA of 3.8 or higher, and that honor went to two outgoing App State seniors in Jackson (3.85 GPA as a sustainable development major) and Przybysz (3.83 GPA in business administration as an MBA student).
Przybysz earned a Commissioner's Medal for the fourth time in his five years at App State, as he graduated Magna Cum Laude from the Walker College of Business with an undergraduate degree in Economics before pursuing his MBA.
With a 3.70 GPA as an accounting major, Clark also had high marks in a group with majors of marketing (Beach, Guess, Miller), biology (Brito, Zovistoski), elementary education (Church), K-12 health and physical education (Flitz), criminal justice (Elliott), recreation management (Najar), exercise science (Richard) and building sciences (Willard).
