ITA REGIONAL DRAWS (PDF)
BOONE, N.C. - Appalachian State University women's tennis will participate in the 2017 ITA Regionals this weekend hosted by North Carolina.
The Apps are coming off another successful weekend where they finished 16-5 in singles and 8-4 in doubles action at the Spartan Classic in Greensboro. Appalachian faced Campbell, UNCG, and Presbyterian in a hidden dual format over the
two-day event. Several Mountaineers won multiple matches in both singles and doubles competition, as they collected a third weekend with 20-plus victories.
Appalachian will play against regional opponents such as Clemson, Wake Forest, Davidson, Charlotte and NC State over the weekend.
Last season,
Rebecca Morse recorded a win in her first-ever ITA Regional Tournament. The junior athlete defeated USC Upstate's Filippa Ericson in the consolation round in straight sets, 6-4, 6-0.
