BOONE, N.C. – Memorial Day is this coming Monday, which has us thinking especially about our United States veterans who have served in our country's armed forces.
This fall, there is a special opportunity for military members still among us to be able to enjoy the spirited atmosphere of a football gameday at The Rock.
Appalachian State Athletics, in partnership with
Vet Tix, is providing all fans the chance to sponsor military members and their families to attend the Sept. 22 Heroes Day game at Kidd Brewer Stadium. The seats are just $20 per person for the game.
For example, a donation of $100 would allow a military member and their family of five to attend one of the best college football experiences in the country.
