BOONE, N.C. – The 2018 Appalachian State volleyball recruiting class has been named High Honorable Mention by Prepvolleyball.com.
App State is one of 44 programs to receive the high honorable mention accolade. Other programs to be named high honorable mention compete in the ACC, Big Ten, Big 12 and SEC.
The Mountaineers 2018 class features middle blocker
Anna Kincaid (High Point, N.C./Southwest Guilford), outside hitter
Victoria Wilform (Rock Hill, S.C./Northwestern), setter
Jana Owens (Overland Park, Kan./Blue Valley West), middle blocker
Daryn Armstrong (Cary, N.C./Panther Creek), middle blocker
Amya Giger (Asheville, N.C./Carolina Day School), defensive specialist
Grace Kinsch (Denver, N.C./East Lincoln) and defensive specialist
Holli Smith (Raleigh, N.C./Broughton).
The talented recruiting class will join a squad that won 12 contests in the 2017 season.
