BOONE, N.C. — Appalachian State's men's cross country team will be in the 14-team field competing Saturday morning at the Upstate Invitational meet in Spartanburg, S.C.
Hosted by USC Upstate, the 8K race begins at 9:45 a.m. at the Milliken Research Park adjacent to USC Upstate's campus. There are 128 men's runners entered, and there will be separate scoring between the Division I teams and non-Division I teams.

App State will be joined in the Division I ranks by Coastal Carolina, Campbell, East Tennessee State, Gardner-Webb, High Point, Mercer, UNC Wilmington, USC Upstate, Western Carolina, Winthrop and Wofford. Anderson and Newberry will also compete.
