UNITED SOCCER COACHES TRAINING REGISTRATION
BOONE, N.C. - Appalachian State University men's soccer head coach
Jason O'Keefe and the rest of the staff will host an NCAA open training session on October 4th.
O'Keefe and assistant coaches, Dan Louisignau and Shaun Utterson will be hosting the training session at Ted Mackorell Soccer Complex at 9 a.m., while coaches are encouraged to meet at the field at 8:45 a.m. The trio of coaches will share their expertise and experience coaching collegiate soccer at the Division I level.
Attendees can register through United Soccer Coaches, which will market the event to its members in the area and also supply a marketing tool kit for the institution. The hosting coach and assistants will greet the guests before training starts and provide a preview of the session. The coaches then conduct the training session followed by a Q & A period before closing with a thank you to the attendees.
The open training is an excellent way to reach out and build community support, and hopefully will encourage guest coaches to invite their team members to attend a game in the future.
Any interested coaches in the area can register
HERE. Once registered, United Soccer Coaches will send the marketing tool kit and will promote the event to area members.
Launched in the spring of 2017, over 250 interested coaches at all levels made their way out to training sessions across the country, learning from some of the top minds in soccer.
