BOONE, N.C. — Fans can catch all of the exciting action of Appalachian State University men's and women's basketball in 2017-18 by purchasing season tickets, which are on sale now.
A 2017-18 Appalachian State basketball season ticket, which reserves a seat for all 26 regular-season games at the Holmes Center (13 men's, 13 women's), costs just $175 for courtside. Non-courtside season tickets are $100 for adults, $80 for senior citizens (ages 60 ) and Appalachian State faculty/staff and $50 for youth (ages 3-12).
Appalachian State basketball season tickets can be purchased online by clicking here, by phone at (828) 262-2079 or in person at the Appalachian State athletics ticket office, located at the Holmes Center (Monday - Friday; 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.).
With the purchase of a season ticket, fans can see the women take on opponents such as the 2016 WNIT runner-ups and ACC foe Georgia Tech and UAB, while the men will have compelling matchups against South Florida from the American Athletic Conference and former SoCon rival, Davidson.
Fans will also witness the all-new state-of-the-art video board that was installed over the summer, which will certainly enhance a fan's experience in 2017-18.
"We couldn't be more excited to start our season tickets campaign for 2017-18," Appalachian State women's basketball head coach Angel Elderkin said. "The team is working hard and preparing for the season that is just around the corner. When we have teams like Georgia Tech, UAB, Davidson, and our Sun Belt opponents play at the Holmes Center, we want you here, and in the seats. We can't wait to show you the exciting brand of basketball we expect to play this season."
In addition to season tickets for all 26 App State home games, tickets to see the Mountaineer men take on Iowa State and others at the Nov. 16-19 Puerto Rico Tip-Off are also on sale and can be purchased through the Appalachian State athletics ticket office.
"Our team has worked extremely hard since the end of last season," Appalachian State men's basketball head coach Jim Fox said. "Our excitement is building as the season rapidly approaches. We work hard to put together a schedule that gets our fans excited. Now, we need you to join our army. We need you to be there when our team takes the floor at the Holmes Center. The new addition of a video board is another in a long line of improvements to the facility. We need you in the seats, we need you to support our program. Come be part of the excitement.
