Wrestling Begins Season at Hokie Open

BOONE, N.C. — Appalachian State's 2017-18 wrestling season officially begins Sunday with its participation in the Hokie Open tournament at the Berglund Center in Roanoke, Va.
 
The Mountaineers have 31 wrestlers entered in the open and freshman/sophomore divisions across the 10 weight classes. Forrest Przybysz (now at 174 pounds) was fourth at 165 pounds during the Hokie Open last year, and Matt Zovistoski finished second at 149 pounds.
