JONESBORO, ARK. – Appalachian State volleyball continues their journey to the Sun Belt Championship with a match on Friday, Nov. 17 at 6 p.m. EST in the quarterfinals against Louisiana.
In their last meeting, the Ragin' Cajuns defeated the Mountaineers in three sets (25-18, 25-22, 25-19) on Oct. 20. This match was their only meeting of the 2017 season.
Lexi Kohut led the Mountaineers with 14 kills during their Oct. 20 match.
Ashlyn Brown had 37 assists, and
Olivia Loeffler helped on defense with 20 digs.
Louisiana is ranked third in the Sun Belt Conference, and App State is ranked seventh. After last night's victory against the UT Arlington Mavericks, the Apps look for another win to advance to the semifinals against the No. 2 seed Texas State which will take place on Saturday, Nov. 18 at 6 p.m. EST.
