BOONE, N.C. — Coming off two victories at the Mountaineer Duals, Appalachian State's wrestling team had two voting points in
the USA Today/NWCA Division I Wrestling Coaches Poll released Tuesday by the National Wrestling Coaches Association.
The Mountaineers are unofficially No. 31, just outside of the top 25.
App State won 28-7 against Bloomsburg and 45-0 against Southern Conference foe Davidson on Saturday at Varsity Gym. It is scheduled to compete this weekend at the Keystone Classic in Philadelphia before returning to dual meet action with matches at No. 28 North Carolina (Nov. 26) and Ohio (Dec. 2).
The Mountaineers' next home match is Dec. 10 against N.C. State, which is No. 7 in this week's USA Today/NWCA Division I Wrestling Coaches Poll.
