BOONE, N.C. — With the start of their 2017-18 seasons approaching quickly, single-game tickets for Appalachian State's basketball programs and single-match tickets for wrestling are on sale.
There will be a total of 26 regular season college basketball games at the Holmes Center this season, starting with a Nov. 10 women's opener against ACC program and WNIT runner-up Georgia Tech.
App State's men open their regular season a day later on Nov. 11 against Toccoa Falls College in Boone and have high-profile home games against Davidson (Nov. 25) and South Florida (Dec. 2) before starting Sun Belt Conference play. App State's women also welcome Davidson to Boone on Nov. 19 and UAB to the Holmes Center on Dec. 1.

Angel Elderkin both entering their fourth seasons, App State will have nine Sun Belt doubleheaders with women's and men's games from Dec. 29 through March 3.
Single-game tickets cost just $15 for adults and $10 for youth (ages 3-12) for all men's games and men's/women's doubleheaders. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for youth (ages 3-12) for women's games.
Additionally, fans can catch the fast-paced action for every App State men's and women's basketball game at the Holmes Center by purchasing season tickets. A season ticket that reserves a seat for all 26 regular season games (13 men's, 13 women's) costs just $100 for adults, $80 for Appalachian State faculty/staff (limit two tickets) or senior citizens (ages 60+ with a limit of two tickets) and $50 for youth (ages 3-12). For women's games only, a season ticket is $50 for adults, $30 for App State faculty/staff (limit two) or senior citizens (limit two) and $25 for youth (ages 3-12).
Single-game tickets will be sold one hour prior to tipoff for all games, and they will be available for sale only at the southwest entrance for women's games that aren't part of doubleheaders.
Men's and women's exhibition basketball games are free to attend. The women play a home exhibition against Tusculum on Tuesday at 3 p.m., and the men have their home exhibition against Warren Wilson on Nov. 7.
App State's wrestling team, which will attempt to win its third straight Southern Conference regular season championship under the leadership of coach
JohnMark Bentley, has a home schedule that includes nonconference matches against N.C. State (Dec. 10) and Duke (Feb. 8) in Varsity Gym. Three SoCon opponents, one more nonconference opponent (Bloomsburg as part of the Mountaineer Duals with SoCon member Davidson on Nov. 11) and the Appalachian Open (Jan. 27) are also part of the home schedule.
Single-match tickets are $7 (adult) and $3 (youth), with N.C. State's visit set as a premium match with a price of $10 for adults and $3 for youth. Season tickets are available for $35 (adults) and $15 (youth).
The wrestling team's Black and Gold exhibition on Wednesday at 6 p.m. in Varsity Gym is free.
