SPARTAN INVITE SCHEDULE
BOONE, N.C. - Appalachian State University women's tennis continues the strong fall this weekend at the Spartan Classic Invitational hosted by UNCG in Greensboro.
The Mountaineers will go up against host UNCG, Campbell and Presbyterian on Saturday and Sunday in a hidden dual format.
Appalachian is coming off a second-straight weekend with 20-plus victories, a singles flight championship by María José Zacarias and three other finals appearances in a field that featured the likes of Wake Forest, Kansas State, Virginia and Virginia Tech. Emily Gaskins played superb tennis as they made it to the championship round in the D Doubles flight. In addition, it was the second-straight invite a Mountaineer has brought home a championship.
